   July 2018

The club's officials met with the Council earlier this week. A frank and constructed discussion took place with the following agreements reached:
- the Paddle boarders would keep away from any anglers ( as best they can )
- if any angler encounters a problem with the Paddle boarders they should take the matter up in the first instance with one of the two Council's representatives that will be in attendances during the sessions.
- there is No paddle boarding allowed outside the Council's sessions.

I know that this is not the outcome the membership was hoping for but, it was the best we could have achieved as the Council are complying with the terms and conditions contained within the Licence they have with the club.
I now have the contact details of the person responsible for running the sessions and will be monitoring the situation closely.

Kind regards,

Jim (Club Secretary)

Cormorant numbers at Penyfan are returning as we move into 2016, clapping and making noise has been very affective in moving them on and members and visitors are advised to continue this practice.
Members are requested to check any killed fish to establish if they are feeding on Crayfish and report this via the website forum.
